In summer the lake stage right at the water becomes an open-air opera stage. The festival publishes its own programme and dates.

Up the mountain
Pfänder and the Pfänderbahn
The Pfänder is Bregenz's local mountain. The Pfänderbahn cable car runs up from town; at the top the view reaches across Lake Constance and far into the mountains.
